Yugo Goes to America

This is a screening of a documentary film with the director attending in person. Four millennials born in the 1990s in the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia travel across America in a Yugo. The cult car of the eighties was once considered one of the worst cars in history in the USA, and from New York to Los Angeles they meet people involved in its import, today's Yugo fans, Americans and emigrants from the post-Yugoslav countries. The journey by Filip Grujic and Aleksa Borkovic becomes a search for the meaning of the worst and a personal encounter with a history inseparable from the Yugo.
