„Genossen! Stillgestanden! – DDR-Comedy mit Bockwurst und Kartoffelsalat“ is a comedy show that uses dry humour and East German nostalgia to explore quirky memories and absurd rules of everyday life in the GDR. Leading the proceedings is Sergeant Wichtig, supposedly the last surviving neighbourhood officer of the „Deutsche Demokratische Gebirgsrepublik“, who speaks his mind. The former head of state also speaks up once more and naturally has plenty to say. The humorous tour between Bockwurst, potato salad and „state-certified“ punchlines takes place at Showbühne Berlin.
