Der Traumzauberbaum
About
"Der Traumzauberbaum" is the cult audio-play musical presented as a 360° fulldome experience for children aged 4 and up, lasting 50 minutes and shown in German. The two forest spirits Waldwuffel and Moosmutzel use a large tuning fork to make the colorful dream leaves ring, delighting children with stories and songs. When they secretly tear off the blue leaves with the rain dreams to always have sunshine, they unwittingly bring about a great misfortune. The visualizations and animations are based on the original illustrations from 1980.

Critics praise the inventive, musically ambitious songs and charming fantasy atmosphere. They fault the muddled story and the overly sweet, grating children's-music style.
