About

Die Kette. Schöneberger Gesichter und Geschichten – Eine Portraitreihe von John Kolya Reichart is a special exhibition at the Schöneberg Museum. Photographer John Kolya Reichart spent a year going out to meet people, listening to them and portraying them, with each photographed person suggesting the next one. The first part presents forty people connected by closeness, sympathy or curiosity, while in the second part they tell of everyday life, ruptures, hopes and new perspectives, creating a many-voiced picture of how diverse the neighbourhood is and how its stories are linked together. The sitters' voices can be heard via QR codes, and a companion publication is available at the museum.
