About
"Elfriede wird 80!" is a celebratory evening of songs and tributes in the Rangfoyer of the Deutsches Theater. Marking the 80th birthday of Nobel laureate Elfriede Jelinek, the theater presents the 50th performance of its award-winning production "Angabe der Person", honored with the Nestroy Theatre Prize. Singer-songwriter Heiner Bomhard plays piano, director Jossi Wieler gives an introductory talk, and dramaturg Bernd Isele joins in. Admission is free.
