Fucking Different Generations

“Fucking Different Generations” is an episodic film made up of seven shorts about the generations within the queer community. Twenty years ago the “Fucking Different” project asked about the similarities and differences between gay men and lesbians; in recent years a conflict between generations has emerged. Queer filmmakers of the baby-boomer generation made shorts about their ideas of young queer people's lives, while young filmmakers of Generation Z reflected on their view of queer boomers. Todd Verow asks young queers about their cruising experiences, Jo Pollux turns a boomer into a hip member of Generation Z for 24 hours, and Monika Treut explores what the generations can learn from each other.
