"Gerd Normann - Labertaschenland" is a cabaret and comedy programme about the everyday nonsense in the flow of speech. In it, Gerd Normann tells stories in scenes, songs and rhymes, for instance about the impact of climate change on nude hikers and the difference between a lioness and a wild boar. He wonders how a shoemaker's apprentice is properly addressed, sings songs about men in high-visibility vests and clerks phoning themselves, and explains how to elevate nonsense poems into world literature. In this way he presents a sweeping take on current social foibles, paired with clever wit, silliness and likeable self-irony.
