The German Throwdown is Germany's largest fitness festival, taking place for the twelfth time in 2026 and, for the first time, as a guest in Berlin. Athletes of functional fitness compete against each other in several workouts, like a multi-event competition. Each event demands a different mix of strength, endurance, skill and technique – from heavy Olympic weightlifting and gymnastic elements to intense endurance courses. Whoever performs best across all events wins, followed by the award ceremony.
