About
The „Jurtengespräche“ are a format in which experts with various personal and professional ties to Mongolia share insights into their work inside the special atmosphere of a yurt. It is hosted by the Staatliche Museen zu Berlin, Museum für Vor- und Frühgeschichte, as part of the exhibition „Dschingis Khan. und die Welt der Mongolen“. The guests first give a short introduction to their work and their connection to the country, after which visitors are invited to ask questions and engage directly with them. The guest on this occasion is Matthias Wemhoff, director of the Museum für Vor- und Frühgeschichte and Berlin's state archaeologist.
