About
A public tour through the permanent exhibition of the Jewish Museum Berlin, focusing on the historical era room „Katastrophe“. Hundreds of decrees issued against Jews between 1933 and 1945 are displayed as an installation on large banners hanging from the ceiling, alongside a map projection showing violent attacks. Objects such as „Judensterne“ and personal documents tell of attempts to flee Germany and of Jewish resistance. An introduction to the museum building's iconic architecture is part of the tour.
