About
The conference "Curating - Caring for Knowledge and Society" asks how universities and museums, as democratic institutions, can "care for" society. In four thematic panels – "Natur erleben", "Gemeinsam leben", "Gesünder werden" and "Zukunft gestalten" – curators from Berlin cultural institutions and researchers from the Berlin Excellence Alliance present and discuss curatorial practices through specific case studies. The programme is complemented by a keynote from Elke Krasny and a conversation with Marion Ackermann and Joachim Baur titled "Sorge, Wut, Mut". The conference is jointly organised by the Berlin University Alliance, the Humboldt Labor and the Zentrum für Kulturtechnik.
