About

“Kuratieren – Sorgen für Wissen und Gesellschaft” is a conference about the role of universities and museums as places of knowledge exchange. It is jointly organised by the Berlin University Alliance, the Humboldt Labor and the Zentrum für Kulturtechnik. Curators from Berlin cultural institutions and researchers from the Berlin excellence alliance present practices of curating in four panels – “Natur erleben”, “Gesünder werden”, “Gemeinsam leben” and “Zukunft gestalten” – using specific case studies. These are complemented by a keynote by Elke Krasny and a closing conversation with Marion Ackermann and Joachim Baur titled “Sorge, Wut, Mut”.
