About
Koloniale Gegenwart is a public guided tour for adults at the Humboldt Forum in Berlin. It is run by the Staatliche Museen zu Berlin and draws on selected objects from the Ethnologisches Museum and the Museum für Asiatische Kunst. Visitors look at questions of provenance, the restitution of cultural property and the impact of colonialism on present-day society, a subject that has accompanied the building since its foundation stone was laid.
