About

"Geschichte(n) Tansanias" is a public guided tour of the exhibition of the same name at the Humboldt Forum. The exhibition was developed in cooperation with the National Museum of Tanzania and in dialogue with representatives of various communities in Tanzania. It illuminates the provenance histories of cultural belongings brought to Germany during the colonial era, addresses questions of restitution, and gives representatives from Tanzania a voice through filmed interviews. The tour is aimed at ages 16 and up, lasts 60 minutes, and is held in German.
