Tanzende Generationen is an interactive family tour at the Humboldt Forum, run as a tandem guided tour. The program comes from the Staatliche Museen zu Berlin, specifically the Ethnologisches Museum and the Museum für Asiatische Kunst. It explores how dance is passed on across generations as a living heritage, drawing on objects from past and present. Participants bring movement into the Museum für Asiatische Kunst with fans and, by dancing, listening and trying things out, experience how stories, bodies and movement come together.
