Liederabend Internationales Opernstudio
Staatsoper Unter den Linden, Unter den Linden 7, 10117 Berlin, Mitte
About
A song recital of arias and ensembles from opera and operetta under the motto „Flower Power“, in which blossoms stand as symbols of love, seduction and transience. Young singers of the Internationale Opernstudio of the Staatsoper Unter den Linden perform, with Markus Zugehör at the piano and Detlef Giese and Katharina Duda as moderators. The program features works by Mozart, Donizetti, Delibes, Puccini, Bizet and Lehár, including pieces from Le nozze di Figaro, Madama Butterfly, La Bohème, Carmen and Die lustige Witwe. The evening tells of longing and the happiness of love, of passion and heartache.
