About

"METAMORPHOSE DES DENKENS" is a group exhibition by the Kai Dikhas foundation and the Kunstraum Dikhas Dur, curated by Moritz Pankok, marking the foundation's 15th anniversary; it shows art by Sinti and Roma among others. Historical works by artists such as Francisco de Goya, Théodore Géricault and Otto Pankok are set in dialogue with contemporary art by Delaine Le Bas, Luna De Rosa, Gabi Jiménez and David Weiss. At its centre is the Greek artist Christophoros Katsadiotis, who works with a printing workshop in the gallery space and reworks Orthodox Christian icons in his collages. The show explores how thinking and imagery change, and takes a stand against racism and antiziganism.
