Meze Magic

“Meze Magic” is a German-language cooking class on the vegetarian treasures of Turkish cuisine. The instructor is Aysegül Öztekin, who grew up in a Turkish-German family and discovered the vegetarian side of Anatolian cooking with her mother, aunts and neighbours. The class shows how people really cook at home in Turkey, with dishes such as stuffed aubergine, carrot-yogurt antipasti, Turkish rice and sweet semolina halva. Since 2019, Öztekin has cooked regularly in different formats, sharing her enthusiasm for vegetarian Turkish food.
