About
“NEOZOON. together” is an exhibition with a film shown in the M1 VideoSpace at KINDL – Zentrum für zeitgenössische Kunst. It is by NEOZOON, an eco feminist art collective working in film, video installation and artistic intervention in public space, whose works address sociological questions of speciesism; the exhibition is curated by Magdalena Mai. The film takes on the male-dominated narrative of human history and questions the idea of civilizational progress, from the settling down to the acquisition of property and its defence. In its familiar ironic and humorous manner it exposes the bitter depths of living together while also asking for alternative visions of the future.
