Pain & Impact Play
Daruma, Karl-Marx-Straße 275, 12057 Berlin, Britz
About
"Pain & Impact Play" is a workshop on working with pain, both physical and emotional. It is led by Saara Rei, a multidisciplinary performance artist and Kinbaku practitioner with a background in music, dance, and education. Participants learn techniques for giving and receiving impact safely on various parts of the body, including the face, along with anatomy and safety fundamentals. Less visible forms such as shame, submission, and fear are also explored, with tools for presence, awareness, and regulation; the workshop is open to all experience levels, and no one is required to do anything.
