The Pilzführung (BERLIN) is a roughly three-hour mushroom walk in Berlin open to beginners and to people who already know some species, and no prior knowledge is required. It is run by Waldsamkeit together with the mushroom experts Victor Grönke and Max Richter, who explain what fungi are, how they live and how they enrich the environment far beyond the dinner plate. The focus lies on recognising the most common mushrooms and separating them safely from poisonous ones, with toxicology, ecology and morphology presented factually and without esotericism. To protect the stocks, no mushrooms are collected during the tour.
