About
„Pilzwelten“ is an interactive guided tour for adults about the world of fungi through Spreepark and Plänterwald. Speaker Heinrich Waldschütz, on behalf of Campus Stadt Natur, explains the hidden mycelium of fungi, their role in nature as saprobionts, parasites or symbionts, and their uses in food, medicine, dyeing natural fibres or as a building material. On the walk, various fungi are presented, though the focus is not on common edible mushrooms. The aim is to change how we see fungi as huge but hidden organisms.
