About
"Porträt intensiv!" is a two-day workshop for adults in which expressive portraits are drawn and painted. Art historian Henrik Engel offers an introduction to the Gemäldegalerie's special exhibition, which combines portraits into surprising pairs from the Old Masters to Classical Modernism. Under the guidance of the artist Birgit Bellmann, participants create sketches in front of originals as well as studies of a model from different viewpoints. The workshop suits beginners and advanced participants alike, and all materials are provided.
