About
"SuperCity 3000. Unsere Stadt der Zukunft" is a special exhibition in the Ladestraße of the Deutsches Technikmuseum. It was created by museum staff together with 60 children from four Berlin schools, asking how we will live in the city of the future, with the children's own models of their future city at the heart of the room and innovative ideas and new technologies spread across 500 square metres around them. Hands-on and experimental stations throughout, such as the Invisible Shield, a chat bench and a sandbox where models can be built from sand and other materials, invite visitors to explore the theme, and the resulting ideas are divided into six areas: Weite, Wachstum, Versorgung, Natur, Klima and Gemeinschaft. Workshops for primary school classes can be booked, and programmes are offered for small family groups at weekends and during the holidays.
