The Game

»The Game« is a participatory piece of game theatre in which the audience, in small groups, builds up its own cattle farming on a game board. It comes from the Swiss group Trickster-p, longtime companions of Theater der Dinge. The cleverly designed rules lead straight into the mechanisms of modern economies and force players to choose between profit maximisation, ecological and ethical values. Conversations and discussions among visitors are part of the performance, and each visitor decides how intensively they take part.
