Twin Talk

Twin Talk: Delights is a concert by the saxophone trio Twin Talk, marking their long-overdue European debut. The three musicians have been central figures in the Chicago jazz scene for over a decade: Dustin Laurenzi on tenor saxophone, Katie Ernst on double bass with vocals, and Andrew Green on drums. Their highly interactive style of playing subverts conventional norms, with the musicians simultaneously taking the lead and supporting one another; the music unfolds melodically with meticulous balance and a quiet freedom. The trio has toured with the likes of Bill Callahan and Iron & Wine, and this performance shows their deep connection to jazz.
