About

Dirty Dancing is a stage musical based on the 1987 film starring Patrick Swayze and Jennifer Grey. Written by the film's screenwriter Eleanor Bergstein and directed by Frederico Bellone, it tells of good girl Frances 'Baby' Houseman, who falls for working-class dance instructor Johnny Castle at the resort where her family is vacationing. A live band and a company of over 40 performers bring songs like 'Hungry Eyes', 'Hey Baby, Do You Love Me?' and '(I've Had) The Time of My Life' to the stage. The show first premiered in London in 2006 and became an instant hit.
