About
I Love Boosters is Boots Riley's film about Corvette, an aspiring fashion designer leading The Velvet Gang, a group of 'boosters' who steal clothes from fashion entrepreneur Christie Smith's boutiques. When Smith steals one of Corvette's designs, the gang are pushed to the next level. The film stars Keke Palmer, Naomi Ackie, LaKeith Stanfield and Demi Moore, and is a wild fashion fever dream and a rally cry against the system.
