The Clore bring their rhythm-fuelled sound to the Vortex Jazz Club for one set of live music. The London-based four-piece was formed by Yuma Angius-Thomas on drums, Oliver Parikian on keys and synth, Nahuel Angius-Thomas on bassoon and Alex Gold on bass. They draw on traditional jazz improvisation, soulful sounds, funk and the genre-bending fusion of the contemporary jazz scene, with influences from the eclectic vibes of London jazz. Merging bassoon and synth melodies, the quartet plays its own compositions alongside arrangements of pieces they love.
