Field Notes Exhibition

Field Notes / Notas del Campo is a summer workshop exhibition celebrating a season of creativity, exploration, and collective learning at Valé EcoLab. It is led by Valé Collective, a Latinx-led, eco-centered art and design organization, through the Field Notes public art and science program. Over spring and summer, artists and community members of all ages explored the coastal ecology of the Rockaways through hands-on art and science workshops, from natural dyes and coastal plants to soils, sound, and living environments. The exhibition brings together the community's artwork, experiments, and discoveries, with music by DJ Creepitona and refreshments.
