About

"MASK OFF" is a contemporary Korean dance performance by the National Dance Company of Korea. Choreographer Lee Jae-hwa draws on talchum, Korea's traditional mask dance known for its satire and energetic physicality, reimagining it as a modern movement language that looks beyond ornate tradition to the breath, form and movement at its core. The music is composed and performed by geomungo artist Park Da-ul, and the synergy between the dancers delivers a surge of energy across the stage. The performance is recommended for audiences ages 8 and above.
