Gabetta & Noseda

The 2nd Philharmonic Concert within the Prokofiev cycle brings the Orchestra of Zurich Opera to the main stage. Gianandrea Noseda, the general music director of Zurich Opera, conducts, with the cellist Sol Gabetta as soloist. The programme features Dieter Ammann's «Core» for orchestra, Prokofiev's Symphonic Concerto for Cello and Orchestra in E minor op. 125 and his Symphony No. 3 in C minor op. 44. The concert is a cooperation with the Tonhalle Orchestra Zurich; an introduction to the works takes place 45 minutes before the start.
