Milchball

The Milchball is a queer celebration evening with drag shows and DJ sets, returning to the Neumarkt under the motto «Reborn». It is organised by the Milchjugend. It is a homage to the iconic parties of the gay magazine DER KREIS, which took place between 1948 and 1960 in today's Theater Neumarkt, until the city of Zurich imposed a dancing ban. Together, queer history and the resilience of queer culture are celebrated; outfit ideas include phoenix and fire, gold and glitter, scarlet and sunrise.
