Camouflage

The feature film „Camouflage (Камуфляж)“ tells of Vitaly, who wants to build a new life as a student in Munich, until the Russian war of aggression drives his mother and sister from Ukraine to him. It is the feature debut of director and writer Mykyta Gibalenko, which reached cinemas after its world premiere in Venice. Centered on a protagonist stretched between two worlds, the film explores language, belonging and vulnerability, with birds as a recurring motif of longing for freedom. Arthur Aliiev plays the lead.
