Ein Land im Container
DDR-Museum, Karl-Liebknecht-Straße 1, 10178 Berlin, Mitte
About
„Ein Land im Container" is an event at the DDR Museum in Berlin about the disposal of GDR state symbols. The museum is behind it, and it deals with the removal of signs of SED rule from public space after the GDR came to an end. Much of this ended up in bulky-waste containers as the public space visibly changed in the weeks and months before 3 October 1990.
