I MUST DIE is a music theater solo in which the performer Nico Sauer meets himself – and one of the two will not survive. Light and music create two parallel universes, where an alter ego intrudes into the other's world and commits a murder. The audience becomes an observer of a crime story between worlds, forced to ask which level of reality it can trust. Behind the absurd, macabre multiverse thriller is Nico Sauer, who presents the piece by and with himself.
