About

A live show based on the book "Das können wir uns nicht leisten" by Miriam Davoudvandi – not a classic reading, but a stage show with texts, personal stories, humor and pop-cultural analysis. Davoudvandi is a journalist, presenter and author and hosts the WDR podcast "Danke, gut". At its center is her story of growing up poor in Germany, alongside rap, political commentary and millennial and 2000s nostalgia. Some dates feature surprise guests.
