Terms of Encounter
Sinema Transtopia, Lindower Straße 20/22, Wedding
About
"Terms of Encounter" is a curated programme of three films preceded by a performance. Curated by Karina Griffith and Tobias Hering, it revisits an intersectional programme about migrant presence at the DFFB. It shows student and independent works by Wanjiru Kinyanjui, Tsitsi Dangarembga and Auma Obama, who studied at the DFFB. The performance by Mmakgosi Kgabi introduces early research on the films of Monalisa A.J. Godeffroy, who studied at the DFFB from 1977.
