About
The film „Wenn die Connie mit dem Peter....“ is about being young in the 1950s and 60s. A wealthy top manager disguises himself as a caretaker at the boarding school he founded in order to see how things are run there. The pupils turn out hardly naughty at all, their music is pleasant pop songs rather than feared jungle sounds, and in the end all conflicts dissolve happily. Director Fritz Umgelter staged the story with Cornelia Froboess and Peter Kraus as an entertaining musical film that deliberately plays down the generational conflict.
