Morgen vor langer Zeit
About
The feature film „Morgen vor langer Zeit“ tells of Patty, who loses her job in a film factory and her bearings around German reunification. The woman in her fifties collects the belongings left behind by those who moved away in a small East German town, loses her friend Jelena and meets the younger Franz. When her flat becomes too full to enter, she sets out into a mysterious forest around the Kyffhäuser and drifts into inner emigration, until the barely aged Patty suddenly appears in the 21st century present. Luise Donschen directs, with Gerti Drassl, Manuela Biedermann, Pola Friedrichs and Uwe Preuss in the leading roles; Luise Donschen will be a guest at the screening.

Critics
The critic praises an extreme, remarkable take on German reunification from the losers' side, with a strong lead performance. No faults are named; the radical approach is demanding but coherent.
