About

«Wunderkammer» is a full-evening dance work created for Staatsballett Berlin. «Artist in Residence» Marcos Morau combines dance, theatre and music into a total work of art, imagining the stage as a «chamber» full of surprises and unexpected perspectives. The title refers to the historic cabinets of curiosities of the Renaissance and Baroque eras. Themes such as the longing for belonging and the question of the «foreign» within oneself make the work an emotional mirror of our times.
