About

Dogstar is a new play set aboard an icebound whaling ship whose stranded crew faces mutiny as supplies run low. Written by Daisy Hall, writer of the sell-out hit Bellringers, and directed by Lucy Morrison, it follows the sailors as they begin collectively experiencing strange heavenly visions. The darkly comic and moving story asks whether these hallucinations are a symptom of scurvy, a trick of the endless night, or a chance at salvation. This world premiere runs in the intimate studio space of Hampstead Downstairs.
