Passing: A writing workshop with Fieldnotes

Passing: A writing workshop with Fieldnotes is a workshop exploring identity, displacement and the travelling fragment. It takes cues from Evelyn Taocheng Wang's exhibition and writing by Hilton Als, McKenzie Wark, Tiqqun and Richard Siken, among others, to explore writing with and against the 'self'. Through informal exercises and guided reading, participants experiment with collective writing, montage and sampling. The session is led by Elaine ML Tam, Fieldnotes Senior Editor, and is open to all levels of writing experience.
