About

The Bridge is a solo theatre play at the Bush Theatre blending storytelling, stand-up and physical comedy. Palestinian actor and comedian Alaa Shehada, whose debut The Horse of Jenin won a Scotsman Fringe First award, returns with this tale of family and connection, hope and joy. He follows a journey from Jenin to Amman across the Jordan Valley, carrying a leaking container of olive oil, on a funny and moving road trip that explores the realities of the Palestinian struggle and the impacts of colonialism.
