Object/Subject is a play about photography, obsession, and body parts. Playwright Meg Mechelke and director Emma Rempel stage a tight, sparse piece that plays with conventions of the erotic thriller genre in the context of a contemporary relationship drama. John loves Kate, Kate loves Man Ray, and Rachel loves true crime podcasting. Through discussions of voyeurism, haunting, and artistic accountability, the play unravels the power dynamics underlying intimate relationships.
