About
A screening of the 1945 thriller "Spellbound." Alfred Hitchcock directs this psychoanalysis tale, in which analyst Ingrid Bergman falls for amnesiac patient Gregory Peck while wondering if a murderer's heart hides beneath his dapper exterior, with a dream sequence designed by Salvador Dalí and a theremin-inflected score by Miklós Rózsa.

Critics
7.5Very good
The single review praises the film as a dreamy, suspenseful blend of romance and psychoanalysis with thoughtful treatment of guilt and memory. It faults a heavy, plot-driven setup that leans on lengthy exposition before the suspense fully takes hold.
