L'argent

“L’argent” is a feature film presented as a cinema screening. The film by Robert Bresson, based on Leo Tolstoi, is about a forged 500-franc note: a young man is wrongly suspected, spends a short time in prison, and thereafter his path through life changes as he takes revenge on society. Bresson’s last film shows the cruel course of events radically and without sentimentality. The cast includes Christian Patey, Vincent Risterucci and Caroline Lang; the music is by Johann Sebastian Bach.
