Corpus Delicti
About
"Corpus Delicti" is a thriller and an adaptation of Juli Zeh's 2006 novel. It was directed by Lena Stahl and stars Hannah Herzsprung, Damian Hardung, Alexander Fehling, Christian Friedel and Haley Louise Jones. In the near future, the "Method" governs every aspect of people's lives: when scientist Mia Holl's brother is put on trial for murder, she begins to doubt the seemingly perfect order, and her search for the truth makes her a target of the system.

Critics
6.0Good
Critics praise the unsettlingly familiar dystopia, the cast's performances and the tight, atmospheric camerawork. They fault didactic dialogue, a lack of nuance and the flattening of the material into a slick, conventional thriller.
