Die Physiker
Deutsches Theater, Schumannstraße 13a, 10117 Berlin, Mitte
About
A two-act comedy by Friedrich Dürrenmatt, performed at the Deutsches Theater Berlin. Bastian Kraft directs a story about the physicist Möbius, who fakes madness and retreats to a sanatorium run by Dr. Mathilde von Zahnd to keep a formula that could bring about the end of humanity out of the wrong hands. Two mysterious murders of nurses happen there, and soon nothing turns out to be what it seems, raising the question of who bears responsibility for what science makes conceivable. The show runs for 90 minutes without an interval and is recommended from school year 10.
