About
"Hamlet" is a theatre production at the Berliner Ensemble, a preview performance ahead of the premiere. Director Ersan Mondtag and author Wilke Weermann rework Shakespeare's play, focusing on the self-destructive forces of a society. Hamlet, allegedly haunted by his father's ghost, is to avenge his suspected murder and at the same time fix everything that is going wrong in the world. The play combines family drama, revenge tragedy with elements of horror and psychological study, recommended from age 16.
